Deeds Office – Limpopo

The Limpopo Deeds Office, in Polokwane, is the deeds registry for the Limpopo province: Polokwane, Tzaneen, Mokopane, Thohoyandou, Musina, Lephalale and the farming districts between them.

Like Mpumalanga, it is a newer registry. Deeds created before it opened are often still held in Pretoria, so an older Limpopo property can have its current record here and its founding deed there.

Certified copies

The Limpopo registry does not issue certified copies. Certified Title Deed copies (Section 66) and certified Marriage Contract copies (Section 67) are issued by the Cape Town, Pretoria, Johannesburg, Mpumalanga, Bloemfontein, Kimberley and Pietermaritzburg offices only.

For almost everything else, an informational copy is what you want and what you would have been given anyway.
